If you believe that material on SEOptimization infringes your copyright, please follow the DMCA takedown process outlined below.

1. How to File a DMCA Takedown Notice

To submit a valid DMCA notice, your written request must include all of the following:

1. Your Contact Information

  • Full legal name
  • Email address
  • Phone number
  • Physical address

2. Identification of the Copyrighted Work Describe the copyrighted material you believe has been infringed, or include a link to the original work.

3. Identification of the Infringing Content Provide the exact URL(s) on SEOptimization where the infringing content appears.

4. Good-Faith Statement A statement confirming that you believe in good faith that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.

5. Accuracy & Ownership Statement A statement, under penalty of perjury, that:

  • The information in your notice is accurate.
  • You are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf.

6. Signature Your physical or electronic signature is required.

2. Where to Send DMCA Notices

Incomplete or invalid notices may not be processed.

3. What Happens After You Submit a DMCA Notice

Once a valid DMCA request is received:

  • We review the notice.
  • We may temporarily remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing content.
  • We notify the user or contributor (if applicable).
  • The content owner may submit a counter-notification if they believe the removal was in error.

If a valid counter-notification is received, we may restore the content unless legal action is filed by the original complainant.

4. How to Submit a Counter-Notification

If your content has been removed and you believe it was mistakenly identified, you may file a counter-notice that includes:

  • Your legal name, address, phone, and email.
  • The URL of the material that was removed.
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that the removal was due to mistake or misidentification.
  • A statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the court in your region.
  • Your electronic or physical signature.

We will forward your counter-notice to the original complainant.

5. Repeat Infringer Policy

SEOptimization reserves the right to suspend, disable, or permanently terminate access for users who repeatedly infringe on intellectual property rights or abuse the DMCA process.

6. Misuse of DMCA Notices

Submitting a fraudulent or bad-faith DMCA notice or counter-notice is illegal and may result in:

  • Legal penalties
  • Financial consequences
  • Termination of access to SEOptimization
  • Reporting to authorities

Only submit claims if you have a legitimate copyright concern.
